The 13 Things You Most Definitely Forgot to Pack

By Faith Wright, Travel Advisor

After months of dreaming, weeks of planning, days of anticipation and hours of travel, you’ve finally made it on vacation! Unfortunately, you’ve left some clutch necessities behind. CURSES!!

Do not subject yourself to this cruel and twisted tourture again! Use this list and make sure you bring along all. the. needed. things.

1.) Phone charger

That phone is not going to charge itself and bumming one from the hottie in the lobby is not a good look.

2.) Deodorant

Whether sand or snow, the B.O has got to go.

3.) Emergency nail kit

Cracked, split, chipped or jagged, a nail situation must. be. handled.

4.) Toothbrush

No one wants to see all of your plaque as you’re beaming from all the fun you’re having on this trip.

5.) Medication

Leaving prescription and/or OTC meds behind leave you defenseless to maintaining your body’s health and fighting the worst jet lag hangover.

6.) Extra socks

Because who really wants to wear used socks again??

7.) Weather appropriate clothing

Going to the beach? Make sure your two-piece isn’t waiting for you in your bedroom dresser. Going to the mountains? Make sure your jacket is present and packed.

8.) Cash

For all the random tips, vending machines and souvenirs along the way, cash is king.

9.) Snacks

Nothing detracts from a dream vacation quite like being hangry.

10.) Bag for dirty clothes

Clean. And. Dirty. Clothes. Do. Not. Mix.

11.) Space in your luggage for souvenirs

For every impulse vacation purchase, always ask yourself, “How are you going to get that thing home?!”

12.) Patience

Yes, the lines will be long, there will be delays and that kid doing backflips off the waiting room seat will most definitely be sitting behind you. Pack your patience and enjoy the journey!

13.) Your sense of adventure

Life is short, and your travels are special. Get out there, experience the world and make some unforgettable memories!
